Regional Planning

In March 2009, the basis for new, integrated regional plans in the five planning regions of Brandenburg was established with the joint Berlin-Brandenburg State Development Plan.

The planning regions of Uckermark-Barnim and Lusatia-Spreewald are used by INKA BB as test areas for regional climate adaptation strategic development. Site-specific, extensive adaptation measures require pooling, i.e. matching and coordination at regional level within a regional planning context. Embedding these measures in the long term is based on the application or targeted development of climate-adapted regional planning tools.
