In MODAM Philosophy, key factor for understanding interactions between man and biosphere is the farmer and his way of making decisions (Agent based approach).

The agent acts within a complex environment (natural, political, social).

The Agent has a wide range of possible alternatives to act, that he/she is often even not aware of.
